SOHO TALKS #8: The Science of Happiness

SOHO Office Space is thrilled to announce our newest networking event series: SOHO TALKS! SOHO TALKS is an event curated for business owners, entrepreneurs, digital nomads, self employed professionals, freelancers, and individuals looking to expand their business knowledge while networking with industry professionals.

The eighth edition of SOHO TALKS was held on Thursday, 16th March at our SOHO The Strand business centre. During the eighth installment of SOHO TALKS, we were joined by special guest speaker, Kelly Anne Zerafa: Founder, Director, and Counselor at Beatrix Psychology.

During the TALK, Kelly Anne Zerafa discussed The Science of Happiness.

To start off the TALK, Kelly Anne Zerafa connected with the audience by asking some thought-provoking questions: Why are you here? What do you expect from this talk? What is happiness to you?

The audience shared their thoughts and opened up the floor to an interactive discussion about happiness. Kelly Anne then had everyone in attendance fill out a questionnaire to kick off the next part of her TALK.

The entire TALK was centred around an open discussion format between Kelly and the audience, creating a very interactive and comfortable atmosphere. Throughout the TALK, Kelly shared her experiences around therapy, and dived into the different emotions such as guilt, displaced feelings, gratitude, sadness, happiness, etc. Kelly also shared scientific studies, some of her favourite, resonating quotes, and tools for the audience to use in their everyday life.
